YOKE (formerly named Jesus Piece) is an outpouring of southern Afro-American religious history and tendencies that mold understandings of faith, struggle, desire, stimulation, and nostalgia. Through physical and vocal taboos, it asks how we can forge the appearance of excess within social structures of continuous lack.
